Read for the first time today of the first great Chinese sage of tea, Lu Yu (whose treatise on tea I am determined to read--implying, I think, that I must start hanging out in the Hamilton Library at the University of Hawaii; even perhaps enrolling as a grad student): What a character not unlike my own!
