Spitters in the Platter
For
For some reason, or no reason, yesterday in an idle moment I Googled "Lizard Men from Alpha Centauri." The number of links that appeared was astounding--all of them seemingly fairly nutzo...all but one: that of a supposed "Zulu sage and shamaan" Credo Mutwa. Not to say that Credo Mutwa's strange magic epic isn't nutzo too--but as I read, opening my mind, letting the cosmic images and vast time-scale of The Saga of the Chitauli sweep over me, I am more than half-persuaded that there's a good deal of factual truth in it. And more than that, to see that it's espoused by a professional Spitter-in-the-Platter of the likes of David Ickes, and incidentally of course, by the infamous Alex Jones, means that there's enough truth in it that the Powers That Are have determined that it should be, at any cost, discredited. When the Powers That Are set about discrediting something, is when I, as an heir of the Enlightenment, say, "Whoa! There's some truth in this."
