A good many of my fellow Americans think it merely funny.  Robustly funny.  I am reminded that when I see the images of 9/11, I see (what to me is obvious) spectacularly choreographed controlled demolition; while a good many of my fellow citizens (even those who have seen controlled demolitions before) see nothing of the sort.  Can it be that Americans are of two different species?--Those who are heartless and obtuse, and those who are compassionate and able to see what's in front of them?
