The Thing about Scandinavian Monarchies is

that they are, compared to, say, their English counterparts, not creeps, scuzzes and nut-cakes. I refer to their Royal Highnesses Prince Andrew (twice over, for he is both a creep and a scuzz) and Prince Charles (who is, by himself, only--with all respect--a certifiable nut-cake. What, in one of his subjects, might be called "eccentric." That is, though he falls within the broadly tolerant parameters of eccentric British normality, any other culture would admit that Prince Charles is, plainly, a nut-cake).
