What's appalling, horrifying and sickening,

is how the mainstream media (say, CNN) have turned on Assange like a pack of rabid whores (interesting simile, I think), shrieking and drooling what is evidently to be the Received Opinion of the Deep State, and, they dare propose or imply, of all the world. Naked villainy such as I had never imagined, preening itself.  Not unlike a certain (low D) basso aria, in an early, perhaps the first wholly Mozart opera. The ridiculous, infantile triumphing in the strangling (entschnier[¿schnür?]en--something like that--of those who incur the Mighty Osmin's righteous wrath. And he will be tortured... Just like the Empress Wu's rival concubines. In the Big Stakes games (such as our Lizard Lords of the Deep State and 'Tang Dynasty empresses play), torture is the only option. Cruel pack of dragons they are--but, 'tis said, they do fear the ghosts they make.

Which for some reason (pretty obvious when you think about it) reminds me of the hi-larious knots the Dalai Lama neatly tied the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party into, when they demanded to know whom he was going to re-incarnate into.  Ha ha. Ho ho. No wonder they hate him.
