Not to be invidious, but I had to check this lady's gender on Wikipedia to make sure she was a stompin' black lady Lesbian (I think): This is it, that America symbolized by the Projects--and the spectacularly beautiful downtown; hog butcher to the world, and Jazz, and Negroes.
